According to the Kiowa Grandmothers, our female and male roles in
humankind stem from the ‘Thirteen Original Clan Mothers’ who emerged as
aspects of the Earth Mother and Grandmother Moon. These Original Clan
Mothers represent the gifts, talents, and abilities of the feminine. They
teach us to see the beauty in our fellow humans of all races and creeds.
They teach us how to become our visions and how to heal each other as well
as our world.
During this event we will learn about the identity and abilities of
these Ancient Wisdom Keepers and how we can apply those gifts in our own
lives. Each participant will make a Medicine Shield that will hold the
ancient legends of the gifts each Clan Mother gives to humankind.
