We are approaching the height of the spring season, the spring equinox. Soon day overtakes night – the plants send up new growth in response to the longer daylight hours; everywhere is evidence of life’s ability to regenerate.

The spring is often represented by the totem of Eagle. The Eagle flies higher than any other bird and sees far and wide. The spirit of Eagle teaches us to look ahead to find new ways, new ideas, and new visions that we wish to manifest in the coming cycle. Eagle helps us to generate this spring time energy of renewal and new beginnings within our own lives. We are moved to take action, to transform, to release the past, to move forward with inspiration and enthusiasm into the active phase of the year’s cycle.
