Earthlodge Construction
with David Goulder & Alastair Cunningham
10-13 April

Building on the Anam Cara tradition of wayward designs, we are
intending to construct an Earthlodge as a venue for shamanic healing and
ritual.
The construction will consist of a dry stone wall built in an excavated
area rising six feet to ground level, using forest poles in a self
supporting reciprocal roof with a turf finish. We hope the structure will
be lost in the hillside!!
This four day training under the watchful eye of master dyker Dave
Goulder will give participants the chance of learning the art of dry stone
dyking as a house building technique.
The sight will be prepared and building materials ready to hand to
ensure we achieve as much hands on work as possible in the time allowed.
Due to the limited building space and scope for supervision,
participants will be limited to eight participants.
