Ancient Arts & Crafts In Earthlodge
The Earthlodge is our most recent building, processing a unique
earthy quality which will be reflected in the activities we intend to
undertake here.
The structure has been built into the earth, employing a thick dyke
wall which supports a roof made of rough forest timbers topped with turf.
Isolated in a corner of the grounds and surrounded by trees, the
structure is almost hidden from view and makes for a very atmospheric
venue both for exploring ancient practical skills and more particularly as
the principal venue for a range of shamanic practices, rituals and
ceremony.
