The DharmaMind
Spring Meditation Retreat
with David Smith
16-22 May
(starts Friday evening)

DharmaMind means the innate free and non-attached quality of our true
self. Together on this Buddhist retreat we will explore, through practise
and discussion, the utter simplicity of the nature of mind practice that
leads us to recognising our true nature and liberation from suffering and
the wheel of birth and death.
The retreat will comprise of two parts. Firstly a programme of
intensive meditation lasting Friday until Monday afternoon, followed by a
more leisurely optional programme including a guided walk of the mountains
and woodlands around Loch Ness with additional possibility of visiting the
Findhorn Foundation and local historical sites.
There is also the option of participating in work periods at Anam Cara,
working either in the tree nursery, organic garden or sampling the
alternative building programme currently under way. Morning and evening
meditation periods will be maintained through the week.
David Smith is leader of the DharmaMind Buddhist Group based in
Birmingham (UK) and leads retreats both in the UK and abroad. He is also
author of 3 books on dharma practice and understanding. More useful
