Summer Solstice Celebration

The Solstice is the northern hemisphere’s summer high point, a time of
growth, natural abundance, warmth and energy. It is a time of celebration,
hand fastings, dance and merriment, as we embrace the colour and song that
surrounds us.
As summer flourishes around us we are reminded of the
interconnectedness of all life. No being is alone on this planet, we exist
in relationship to each other. This is truly a time of community,
creativity and laughter as we gather together with like-minded people in
celebration of the magic of the moment.
The Summer Solstice is also a dual celebration, it is a celebration of
that which has become manifest during the outward cycle of the Sun, while
also recognising the return to the dark side of the year, the exploration
of the inner world, inner wisdom and inner development. This we will
honour with two celebration Sweatlodges in the Kiva Lodge before and after
the Solstice Ceremony.
This special event will include a Summer Solstice Fire Ceremony and a
Procession, two Celebration Sweatlodge Ceremonies, and several creative
activities in preparation for the Solstice Ceremony including:
