Anam Cara is derived from Irish Gaelic and translates as “soul friend”. It represents a spiritual bond that cannot be broken by time or distance.
An 'Anam Cara' is a friend of the heart, embracing spiritual friendship, guidance, healing and companionship. In essence, it represents a relationship where there is a shared bond that touches the soul, fostering a connection of mutual respect, love and spiritual enlightenment.

We are a vegetarian wellness-focused retreat centre and request that no alcohol or non-prescriptions drugs are brought on site. Meals are prepared by our experienced cooks while dishes and clean ups are a shared responsibility between the retreat participants. A helping hands rota will be shared on arrival.

We request that guests are mindfull to the sensitivities of others and refrain from using strong articicial perfumes or deoderants. Please bring eco friendly soaps and shamoos if at all possible.

We do our best to support environmentally friendly initiates and endeavour to keep plastics to a minimum,.

All bed linen is provided but would request that you bring your own towel, unless travelling from abroad.

Wi-fi is only available in the main venue space and office.
To ensure cabin accommodation is kept as a 'quiet space' for guests, we request that mobile phones are not used in these areas.
