Anam Cara Approach

This is a vegetarian wellness-focused centre. No meat, alcohol, or non-prescription drugs are to be brought onsite. Meals are prepared by chefs onsite, while dishes and clean up are a shared responsibility between retreat participants. Helping Hands Rotas will be shared when you arrive.

We also advise that you do not bring synthetic fragrances, and endeavor to bring eco-friendly soaps and shampoos with you. We do our best to support environmentally friendly initiatives, and would request that you keep plastics at a minimum.

Linens and pillows for beds are provided. There is a washing facility onsite you may use (in the Crystal Palace), but there is no dryer.

Wi-fi is available at the Tufty and the Office, and we ask that you be mindful of phone volume in the shared caravan spaces.

Our Community

Anam Cara was established in 2003, and has developed 'organically' with a range of buildings and landscaping initiatives. The evolving physical features of the centre mirrors the changing emphasis of the training programmes on offer, which in turn reflects the maturing interests of the Anam Cara team.
